220 yards from a veteran qb

in a victory on the shoulders of the running game by generating three touchdown and one from the atlanta falcons. in a rare feat, atlanta defeat the new orleans saints. the running back bailed out matt ryan who generated a meager 220 yards and two touchdown in the air.

for a qb who stats went down as predicted, atlanta pulled out a victory to savor. matt ryan played like a rookie.  the offensive coordinator had some impressive plays that kept the new orleans defense on thier heels. mr ryan without his running game big contribution would have lost this game for sure.

up next are the panthers visiting the falcons.  the charlotte defense will smoother matt ryan by limiting the running game and matt will melt like the pop sickle he is.

he will melt against the saints

Like matt ryan playoff record, his record against the saints is five wins with eleven losses. in other words he has lost twice as many games against them as he has won.  like clock work his stats on monday night will plummets and his mistakes will go up. 

so if you are betting man, bet on the saints.  if the saints keep the running game in check, matt ryan will really melt all over the place. 

matt looks brilliant against the lowly raiders

matt had an impressive outing against the lowly oakland raiders. that will not last long because next week he faces the saints and then the panthers. enjoy this victory while you can because it is about to get ugly again.

opening game a loss

matt ryan can put up big numbers (over 300 yards) but still can't win a lot of games. the one hundred dollar  man was pitiful in third down convertions, 3 out of 13 and stunk it up in the red zone going 1 out of four.

the one playoff win in nine years qb lost to tampa bay our division foe.   we are zero wins and one loss in that category. it looking like the falcons will finish last in their division this year. that will make it four years in the row missing the playoffs.

The year Matt Ryan Burn on the Turf

this season will be matt ryan worst nightmare.   he plays mediocre against winning teams and that's all he will face this year.   watch all his stats tank to new lows and his di-hard fans will still defend him.  the falcons will be lucky to get three wins and they will be like last minute ones.

his best hope is that his two gifted running backs can run all over the field and score four touchdowns to the one he will throw in the game. this will be a long season as the defense get better.  the $100 million dollar man will play like the $3 million man who will play back up for some other team in the near future.

no playoffs this year or maybe next. he can rest in the solace the bank will still cash his check.  his legacy will be of a lot of hope that was average at best. twenty years from now he will not be mentioned in the top qb in falcons history.
