After 7 games, Matt Ryan stats are neck and neck with Jay Cutler

After looking at Matt Ryan Quarterback stats after 7 games he is having the same year as Jay Cutler. Is that why he makes so much money?

Matt has a QB rating of 89.3 and Jay Cutler rating is 78.8.  Matt has thrown 7 touchdowns and 6 interceptions, while Jay has thrown 7 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. No wonder our offense can't score many points b/c a lot of Matt interceptions ended up touchdowns for the opposing defenses.

This year Matt base salary will be almost 16 million dollars. While Jay base salary this year will be 10 million dollar. Maybe we should trade Matt for Jay and save cap space for a stronger team. Something to ponder.

Someone to replace Matt Ryan

A great replacement for Matt Ryan He is a scoring machines, his personal  stats alone dominate opponent  offenses in the ACC. In his freshman year he won a Heisman Trophy.

Matty Ice is hopelessly lost

After five games in this NFL season, Julio Jones got his first touchdown pass from Matt Ryan against the New England Patriots.  This is symbolic of the kind of season Matt Ryan is having this year.  Six interceptions, low scoring offense, and costly mistakes have marked this season. Matt has no passion and is just going thru the motions. Maybe he is still shell shocked over that incredible loss in the Super Bowl 51. He made the wrong type of history that night, most points that was overcome, and it will haunt him forever. Interesting to note his passer rating was perfect. All one has to say is 28-3 to instantly take him back to that infamous night.

After 10 seasons in the books, his highlights are MVP of 2016 and good start as a rookie QB. The bad things are his losing playoff record and that massive loss in Super Bowl 51.  The bad things out weigh the good stuff by a mile. He has to know he may never see another Super Bowl since it took him 10 years to get in his first one.  He is playing like a man who soul is lost with no possible light in his future.  He knows after playing perfectly was not enough to win it all. Of course time will tell, but my bet is he will not get any better for the rest of his football career.

Matt Folded Against the Patriots

Each weak this season it is becoming harder and harder to watch Matt bad plays. Against the Patriot he was the only qb to throw less than 300 yards. Third down efficiency was 22%.

Add to that 25% in the redzone and leaving a lot of points on the ground. No inspired play just going thru the emotions. He did run more which was a nice change. Now he is hard to watch.

More Bad New on Ryan, I couldn't said it better myself

He keeps this up and a replacement is looking really good.

Finally someone else had the guts to tell it

The truth on Matty ice:

Matt has thrown 6 touchdowns and 6 Interceptions so far this season

Matt can't find the end zone and keep throwing passes to the opposition. Against the Miama Dolphins he was only able to generate 17 points for the entire game. A super talented team of receivers, running backs, and MVP QB and this is pitiful. scoreless the second half.

This is getting very familiar. Lack on production in the second half. Atlanta will not be a lot of teams scoring less than 30 points a game. Next up, the Super bowl winning New England Patriot. Tom Brady want have to worry about a comeback, this could be over by half time.

6 turnovers in two games in a row

Matt Ryan sloppy play has officially cost us a game. This time against Buffalo he threw two interceptions and fumbled the ball that scored a TD for them. He threw for under 300 yards and only produced 7 points in the second half of football.

It is safe to say he's not a repeat of the MVP this season. The offense that made history last year as  one of the best all time in the history of football is under performing. The run game is sharp and effective and our tight end is contributing big time as a new weapon.

The big problem is Matt Ryan sloppy play. Six turnovers in two games in a row. He seems to have a mental breakdown. The old Matt Ryan is back unfortunately and the fans know it. The fans left in droves during the game because they could see the writing on the wall.
