Mike Vick Can do better

A rusty Mike Vick can play better than Matt Ryan has played this seasons. This season Matt has won four games with eight losses. With targets of Sanu, Ridley, Jones and others, the 30 million dollar wonder boy hasn't done much.

Recently the offense has struggled to put up more than one touchdown a game. Seems to me the team is laying down since Matt ice can't deliver and is uninspiring in any way. After each loss he sound the same with the same even attitude as person giving driving directions. No fire, same babble and no improvement from the previous weeks lost.

Mike Vick performed much better without all the weapons that Matt has had. Atlanta showed the money to Matt big time with little to show for it. Now imagine if Matt Ryan was traded and Mike Vick came in at a third of the salary with heavy incentives built in the contract. Instantly ATL would be a buzz and excitement would be off the charts.

Even if Mike Vick was half as good, he would be better than the one we have now. Vick gave ATL offense another dimension and weapon that devastated defenses. Double up Jones, and cover all our receivers and Vick would run 10 yards on you and keep the chains moving.

Matt is limited in all phases of attack. Bad mental errors, bad throws, can't handle pressure and almost always goes down so easily. He needs so much help like a baby.  Matt without a good running game is a disaster in the making.

Mr Vick come back and save ATL, please.

QB need to be paid less

Matt Ryan has been paid like a king ever since he was drafted by the Falcons. The good, he has won 99 games, been to one Superbowl, has a MVP, and taken the Falcons to the playoffs a bunch of times. He holds a lot of Falcons records.

The bad: blew the biggest Superbowl in history, has a losing playoff record, is easily sacked, get easily raddled, misses throws, make bad decisions, need a running game, stats go down in big games, not a elite QB, and has lost a lot of games he should have won. Should have a Superbowl.

Lesser paid QB have won Superbowls. Nick Foles won a Superbowl and only make a fourth of what Ryan makes. Joe Flacco won a Superbowl. Eli Manning has won two Superbowl. Brad Johnson won a Superbowl.

The Falcons have paid Ryan a fortune and his estimated Net Worth is $80 million dollars. It seems the more money we give him the worse he gets.  He has won just four games this year and lost almost twice as many so far.

He is great example where QB salaries needs to be more incentive based.. As you have success then you get more money. That is a better system then blindly passing someone huge amounts of money and looks like a sucker when they don't live up to the hype. His latest contract, he is guaranteed $100 million.

Matt Ryan has mustered 4 Wins

The Saints swept the Falcons for the year with the inept leadership of Matt Ryan. This game symbolized this seasons blunders and challenges this year.  Matt answered red hot Drew Brees, with a fumble, interception, fourth down blunders and more.

A team loaded with a up and coming Tight End, Sanu, Jones, Ridley and more, was ineffective in putting points on the board. Red zones oppourtunities were left on the turf. When I defense made some turnovers, it didn't matter.

The first half of the ball game, Falcons put up three points.  Only scoring two touchdown in the second half when the ball game was already decided. Saints put up 31 points and the Falcons managed a measly 17 points.

After 11 games, the Falcons have lost 7 games and won only 4.  Under Matt Ryan we managed to lose to the lowly Cleveland Browns.

Clearly Atlanta Falcons need a new QB that can do better than this.

Matt can't get the ball to Julio Jones in the End Zone

For an elite highly paid Quarterback, Matt Ryan after six games in this season, hasn't thrown any touchdowns to the NFLs top receiver, Julio Jones. What is up with that?

In the mist of scoring touchdowns this season, Julio has been totally been lost in the shuffle. By contrast new receiver Calvin Ridley has six touchdowns.  Tight end Austin Hooper has two touchdowns. Mohamed Sanu has three scores. Telvin Coleman has two scores.

Julio has the most receiving yards on the team with over 700. How does a man who gain that many yards not have one score is mind blogging. Julio Jones is the premier receiver in all of the NFL and haven't made any points is unbelievable.

How can this be acceptable? Maybe that's another reason the falcons are watching the playoff this season.

Is Matt a Great Leader?

Matt Ryan is a long time veteran of the Atlanta Falcons and 2016 MVP of the NFL. Currently due to major injuries on the defense, The Falcons record is one win and three losses. At this moment in the 3rd quarter, Atlanta is losing the game against the 1-2-1 Pittsburgh Steelers.

It occurred to me, is Matt Ryan a great leader after many years as Atlanta Quarterback. Great leaders are able to inspire his team mates to play above themselves for the team. Some examples in the NFL are Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers. For many years without a solid run game, he able to win games time and time again, even when his defense is down.

Dree Bress has proven year after year he's able to overcome his team challenges and win. Tom Brady has done the same thing with different personal year after year.

Matt Ryan has premium offensive play makers all over the field. Running backs are A graded, Receivers are A graded, and offensive line is B graded. Game update Pittsburgh is up by 16 points in the 3rd quarter.

Looks like another loss is on the way and Atlanta is once again on the losing side. So I have to same thing that no Matt Ryan is not a great leader. After only five games, Atlanta can't seem to Rise up as their team chant is.

Matt Can't Take Advantage of Golden Opportunity

Matt Can't Take Advantage of Golden Opportunity in the third quarter with the ball at Atlanta 10 yard line with first and ten. We ended up kicking a field goal instead of a easy touchdown. Atlanta lose the game by one point to the Cincinnati Bengal at the Atlanta Mercedes Benz Stadium.

The defense rose up big time in the second half and it was all for naught due to Matt's under performing. Matt got the golden opportunity when Atlanta sacked quarterback Andy Dalton and Atlanta's special team blocked Cincinnati punt.

If Atlanta had a scored the touchdown then, it would have pushed the game monumental heavily in Atlanta favor. Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda don't count in the NFL.

Now with a quarter of the 2018 season in the books, Atlanta has one win and three losses. Things do not look good for Atlanta with Matt's inability to seize victory. Someway or another Matt seems to come up short in a lot of games.

Matt and company should be 3-0

After watching the three Falcons games this season and given the fact the offense spent the offseason practing on scoring in the red zone, the Falcons should be 3-0.

The opening game was a l;ow scoring deal and the Falcons are capable of putting up 30+ plus points as proven in the last two games. If Matt would have produced the touchdown he did recently, they should have won that game.

The Saint game if he had of scored or at least kept the offense making first down on long drives to keep Drew Brees offense on the sideline longer, we could have won that game also. Thus avoiding overtime and bring the victory home.

How about using the deep receiver bench more often in the first half to baffle the opposing defense, keep running the ball more to keep the opposition honest, and getting more yards on first down to put the odds in your favor to keep moving the ball and the clock.

Running the ball more will get the offense line in a rhythm and ware down the other guys defense. Keep mixing up the plays and use more hurry up offense to keep the defense off stride. One who dictate the pace, usually comes out on top.

Aaron Rogers is a master of setting the pace and thus getting free plays off of opponent defenses. Matt does some his best work in hurry up. Any advantage you can get only makes the offense more lethal.

With out defense on the ropes with major injuries from several players, the offense and special teams need to step it up even more to salvage this season and hold on the promise of a Superbowl appearance this year.

Matt Blows Opportunities for Drew Brees win

Matt Ryan had a record setting five touchdowns in a game that was lost due to blown opportunities during the game. The end of the first half miscues and third quarter blunders sink the Falcons again.

Drew Brees set records himself by became the QB with the most completions ever. He also took full advantage of Matt Ryan mistakes. At the close the first half Matt Ryan able to keep drives going, allowed Brees to put up a field goal in the closing seconds.

When Atlanta would get ahead in the game the offense would fall apart unitl the Saints would get the lead back again. Then Atlanta would come alive. In the third quarter the Atlanta Defense stop Drew Breeze and Atlanta get the ball back at mid field. Matt Ryan unable to get a 1st down and punt the ball back to Drew Breeze.

This kind of stuff cost the Falcons the game. It didn't help also that the offense could not run the ball. We all know that Matt Ryan needs all the help he can get.

39 year old Drew Breeze willed his way to the OT victory over Matt Ryan because he was able to capitalized on opportunities. When the opponents offense is as leathal as yours it is best to play keep away as much as possible. Matt Ryan did the opposite. Atlanta sits at one victory and two losses.

Nick Foles Bettered Ryan

$4 million Eagles back up QB Nick Foles created 66% red zone efficiency and lead them to a victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Meanwhile the $15 million dollar Falcons QB Matt Ryan created 20 % red zone efficiency. Nick Foles created three times the red zone efficiency than Ryan.

During the off season the Falcons worked on red zone efficiency and this is all they got in the first game of the season. If this keeps up we will not make the playoffs.

Nick Foles created 50 % 3rd down efficiency, while Matt Ryan created 26%. Nick Foles created almost twice the 3rd down efficiency than Ryan. Ryan has Julio Jones on his side.

Nick Foles won a Superbowl and Ryan blew the Superbowl by the largest comeback in NFL history.

Bottom line Matt Ryan sucked all night long. Back up QB Nick Foles beat Matt Ryan twice in a row. Last year he beat Ryan in the playoffs as well. Another example where Ryan is overrated and we need a new QB as soon as possible.

$150 Million Dollar Underchiver

Today is a very dark day in Atlanta Falcons history. QB Matt Ryan robbed the team of $150 millions dollars.  $100,000,000 is guaranteed!

Matt in 10 years, won 4 playoff games  and lost six.  In his only Superbowl, he blew the biggest lead in Superbowl history.

Mr Choke has broken the Falcons bank and the team will suffer big time for it. Fans will have to pay more money to watch him take the team down. There will be no money to get or keep top talent.

When they look back on this day they will see the error of their ways.

The Biggest Choke in sport history

Matt has a number one record in sports history.  Unfortunutely it's not one people want to ever have.

Lamar Jackson vs Matt Ryan

In the last two years Matt Ryan threw 58 touchdowns which produced 406 points. He a monster 2016 and 2017 was a average year for Ryan.

In the last two years 2018 Draftee Lamar Jackson threw 57 touchdowns and ran for an additional 39 touchdowns for a grand total of 96 touchdowns. His two touchdowns total equal 672 points.

It is not even close who the better Quarterback is. Yet ATL is about to re-up Matt's contract in the off season.  Matt is old and used up, average QB where as Lamar Jackson is young, strong, and has impressive numbers to back himself up. He's a Heisman Trophy winner with a very bright future.

Mike Vick stated he is better than he was. Lamar Jackson scored almost twice as many TD Matt had even with a monster year included. Who ever get Mr Jackson will get a minimum of two Super-bowls.

Matt on the other hand made Super-Bowl history of being on the wrong end of the biggest come from behind wins ever.

Matt's Decision Making in the second half knocks us out of the playoffs

Matt was solid in the first half and generating 10 points. Then in the second half he came undone. Two key drives cost us the game.

When the eagles kick off went out of bounds the falcons got the ball on the 40 yard line, 1st and ten.  Matt Ryan took a 10 yard sack on the first play, offense stalls and kick the ball back to the Eagles.

Late in the fourth quarter with the game on the line Matt manages first and goal inside the ten yard line. On one down he has a man open and misses him on a pass, 3rd down he tries a ugly shuttle pass that had no chance and no yard gain. fourth down for the ball game he throws to Julio Jones who had fell down before the pass was thrown and threw it high and If Julio had a caught it, it would have been out of bounds.

Another key 2nd string Nick Foles , the 11 million dollar man for the Eagles kept his offense scoring points and Matt Ryan the $100 million dollar man was complete shut out to zero points in the second half.

The Falcons special team created a turnover and the defense created a turnover.  Like all season, Matt Ryan under performed again. In the game Matt generated only one touchdown and we lost the game 15-10.

QB Lamar Jackson is entering the NFL draft and if ATL let that pass by, shame on us. We need a change at QB to get that Superbowl ring or it is more of the same.

Underperforming in TD production

In the last four games, Matt Ryan has only thrown one touchdown per game. This is a worrisome trend that can cost us during our playoff run. Thankfully the ATL defense has been holding down the competition points to keep the games close.

The LA Rams can put up big points on the board so getting points will be critical. Keeping the Rams offense on the sideline will another key to victory. This year Matt Ryan is not the star of the show but the ATL defense is.
