15% on third down conversion vs the new york giants

Oct 5, 2014

last week i defense was blown away by minnesota and today our offense went backwards. today our defense gave up over 100 rushing yards and generated one sack. Our lose today falls on the offense.

matt ryan offense had 33% in the red zone and blew short field oppourunities with field goals. our 3rd down conversion was a pitiful 15%. that stat is the diffence maker, because that mean the defense had to come back on the field too many times.

we ran the ball for 90 yards so the offense should have had better time of it. why this super offense only scored two touchdown the entire game is inexcusable. why has roddy white faded so much this year, wasn't this the year of more opportunities for him with tony gonzalez retired. maybe matt ryan has given up with his offensive line injury issues.

what is up with our pitiful road record. matt ryan can't win on grass in visitors open air staduims and he can't win playoff games. these falcons are looking weak and incompetent. in this game we blew a ten point lead and miss touchdown opportunities and can't convert on third down.

bottom line, matt ryan lead falcons don't look like they will make the playoffs this year. these birds are fading fast after only five games played.
